Webinar: Disability Justice for 2SLGBTQIA+ Employees [Partners only – EN]
April 12, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 12 PM to 1 PM EDT – this event is exclusive for employees of our Proud Partners and Community Partners.
Live Captioning will be provided by 3 Play Media Canada.
When 2SLGBTQIA+ communities replicate the power dynamics that we try to eradicate in our world and impose them on our queer, disabled, racialized bodies and minds, how do we move from toxic ableism to disability justice? This webinar will explore anti-oppression and ableism, from disability rights to disability justice as a way to fully support disabled colleagues and employees by identifying power dynamics and taking action today while mirroring what has happened in queer and trans communities in the past.
