This webinar took place in English on March 26. This session will focus on the ongoing efforts by Canadian Blood Services to rebuild and strengthen trust with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. With the historic apology and updates to blood and plasma donor eligibility criteria, this webinar will highlight how Canadian Blood Services is addressing its past while looking forward. The event will explore the internal and external changes implemented to ensure inclusivity and equity, particularly for 2SLGBTQIA+ employees and donors. Participants will hear from key figures involved in this transformation, including Canadian Blood Services representatives and community leaders. A one-page infographic will also be shared as a resource for participants to use and share widely. This program was made possible by the generosity of Canadian Blood Services financial donors.
