Commitment to Diversity

Flipp is an equal-opportunity employer and we are proud to be a welcoming space for employees. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender identity.

Flipp’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) named The Unity Group has a mission to ensure we maintain a brave and welcoming space for all Flippers, of every background, to bring their whole selves to work with confidence.

We believe a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is crucial for the enrichment of our employee population and our business’s performance. We are committed to advancing these efforts through not only building community and connection as led by our Unity Group but also through systemic and behavioural changes organization-wide. This includes engaging our diverse talent, fostering inclusive talent acquisition practices, and promoting leadership behaviours that serve as positive examples for all.

Vision for the Future

At Flipp, we're committed to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) into our organizational culture and ways of working. Here are some ways we're advancing toward this vision:

● Training and Education Initiatives: Enacting a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Foundations Course, Interview Training aimed at mitigating biases, and a Leadership Curriculum designed to cultivate inclusive team-building skills across all organizational levels.
● Inclusive Hiring Practices: Actively seeking diverse candidates and promoting diverse representation at senior levels.
● Fostering Inclusion via Transparency: Refining our internal job architecture to pave the path for enhanced internal career mobility.

We recognize that DE&I is a journey, not a destination. We aim to continually progress without allowing the fear of imperfection to hinder our efforts. Let's work together to create a more equitable and inclusive environment for everyone.
