Fasken Expands Long-Standing Partnership With Pride at Work Canada

The Firm becomes the first Presenting Sponsor of Pride at Work Canada’s Ambassador Program and Knowledge Labs

Toronto (Canada) – Fasken is expanding its long-standing partnership with Pride at Work Canada, becoming the first Presenting Sponsor of the organization’s national Ambassador Program and its new Knowledge Labs series.

Pride at Work Canada is a national organization that works with employers to build inclusive workplaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Its Ambassador Program and Knowledge Labs series advance workplace inclusion and leadership through collaboration and practical education.

Fasken has been a Proud Partner of Pride at Work Canada since 2013. Founded that same year, the Fasken Pride Network supports inclusion for 2SLGBTQIA+ Firm members and allies, while driving engagement with external partners.

Through this expanded three-year partnership, Fasken will provide $50,000 CAD annually to help grow Pride at Work Canada’s Ambassador Program and Knowledge Labs series by expanding development opportunities, strengthening regional engagement and the network of workplace inclusion Ambassadors across Canada.

“Our expanded partnership with Pride at Work Canada will create more opportunities for learning, connection and practical action while supporting the ongoing efforts of the Fasken Pride Network to build a more inclusive culture at Fasken,” said Letecia Rose, Chief Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer at Fasken.

“Fasken’s sponsorship comes at a pivotal time for the Ambassador Program as we expand its scope,” said Jose Patiño-Gómez, Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Advancement at Pride at Work Canada. “This commitment will help us grow a program that plays an important role in supporting workplace leaders across Canada.”
