Virtual Roundtable: How to Lead with Pride – Skilled trades

February 23, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

  • « Virtual Roundtable: How to Lead with Pride – Professional Services / Tech Sector / Communications
  • Fierté des neiges / Winter Pride 2023 »

Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 2 PM to 3 PM EST – this event is exclusive for employees of our Proud Partners and Community Partners.

While many organizations have renewed their diversity and inclusion strategies, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in Canada continue to experience significant pay and employment gaps and are grossly underrepresented in leadership positions.

Over the last 8 months, Pride at Work Canada’s research team has examined the ways in which existing social barriers in the workplace have a limiting effect on the advancement of 2SLGBTQIA+ employees into senior leadership positions. Data from this emerging research has informed potential practices and preliminary tools specific to people in leadership positions.

Leaders from Pride at Work Canada’s Proud Partners and Community Partners network are now invited to take part in an exclusive preview of research findings, and to engage with other industry leaders as we discuss innovative recommendations, explore suggested tools and share feedback on their feasibility to ensure the proposed solutions effectively advance 2SLGBTQIA+ leaders across all industries.
