Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Welder to join a manufacturing team focused on high-quality metal fabrication and repair in Bowmanville, ON. This role is ideal for a skilled trades professional who takes pride in precision welding, problem-solving, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will work independently or as part of a small team to fabricate and repair metal components for complex projects.
Pay Rate: $25.58 – 30.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: Bowmanville, ON
Shift: Afternoons - 4x10's must be available 24/5 (Incentive - Afternoon/Nights Premium 5% of hourly wage)

Responsibilities:
Fabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets
Repair metal components to restore full functionality and safety performance
Solve problems and develop innovative solutions to novel situations that require a fresh approach while still maintaining required standards of safety, stability, and security
Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard
Keep workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment
Execute welds in a professional manner, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with templates
Work independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects
Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems daily, in addition to fabrication duties
Weld assembly as directed by company standards
Follow, create, and help maintain welding procedure specifications
Always keep work area clean and organized
Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding)
Selects, positions, and aligns and bolts parts or fixtures to be welded
Qualifications and Skills:
Post-secondary education in welding required
3-5 years of experience as a Welder in a manufacturing environment
Experience with All-Position welding techniques
Knowledge of applicable safety standards
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, analytical, organized
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
