What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Vancouver is seeking a Wealth Associate to execute a high performing Advisory Teams Wealth Management Strategy. The successful candidate will possess 3-5 years of industry experience, a passion for service excellence, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. The ability to learn and grow in this role is vast.
You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through Wealth Management Activities.
What will you do?
- Coordinate and prepare Wealth Management meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
- Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
- Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
- Maintain existing client accounts and COI relationships and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
- Support Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain audit of all Wealth Management Activities and priorities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients.
- Experience working on a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task/attention to detail/problem solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in securities industry, preferably with RBC Dominion Securities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset.

The expected base salary range for this particular position is $37,500 - $45,000 -- depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn considerably more through RBC’s robust discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
