A career as a Wealth Management Associate at National Bank Financial – Wealth Management in Saint-Félicien offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience. In this position, you leverage your ability to work collaboratively with clients, Wealth Management Advisors and internal partners to support long-term financial outcomes for our clients.

As a trusted partner to Advisors, you contribute to the quality, efficiency and rigor of client service while supporting portfolio management and business development activities.

Your role

·        Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to Wealth Management Advisors, delivering high-quality client service in person, by phone and by email

·        Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners

·        Analyze and follow up on individual securities, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and other investment instruments held in client portfolios

·        Monitor portfolio performance and ensure data accuracy

·        Prepare financial reports and draft client communications

·        Stay informed on major economic and financial market developments

·        Execute client instructions and transactions, including securities trades, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and currency conversions and ensure appropriate follow-up

·        Support Advisors and managers in preparing proposals and documentation for prospective clients

·        Prepare, validate and reconcile various reports on a regular basis

·        Actively participate in team initiatives and projects, demonstrating initiative and leadership

Requirements

·        University degree in a field related to business, finance or economics

·        Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook course (an asset); otherwise, required securities licensing courses must be completed within the first year

·        CFA designation (completed or in progress) and/or CIM designation

·        Proven experience in client service

·        Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite

·        Familiarity with CRM and financial platforms such as Salesforce, Croesus, and Thomson (an asset)

·        Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
