PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Distribution Centre in Ottawa, ON for a Part Time Warehouse Technician. 

Shift: 2pm - 10pm (candidates must be avaialble to work weekends)

The Role:  The Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will perform general warehouse duties involving the operation of an automated pick cart; building orders and loading trucks, delivering efficiency and accuracy targets, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.  


Responsibilities

  • Picks customer orders by full cases by voice or scanner   
  • Pick customer orders by individual bag on Pre-pick module/cart  
  • Loads route trucks with product using roller carts or by hand-bombing   
  • Uploads cardboard and return product from route trucks into inventory   
  • Stacks and bundles cardboards   
  • Performs general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance   
  • Work in a safe manner utilizing safe lifting techniques   
  • Attend regular scheduled team meetings   

Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent    
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment   
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines   
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required   
  • Forklift experience preferred   
  • Valid Class G drivers license with a clean driving record is a plus  
  • Excellent communication skills
