Warehouse Coordinator – (1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Work Hours : Tuesday-Saturday (6:30am-3:00pm)
  • Support Day to Day activities of the warehouse operations alongside supervisors and managers.
  • Inventory Management of finished goods (FG)
  • Warehouse & yard organization (5S and GMP owner)
  • Recycling activities - coordination & reporting
  • Coordinate & reconcile counts on finished goods
  • Systematic receiving in SAP: Raw materials, blind receiving process, etc.
  • Document management in warehouse
  • Safety element ownership - Yard Management / WH focus 
  • Trailer storage management
  • Daily inbound empty can updates and carrier communication/management
  • Period end owner and documentation completion for finished goods
  • Certification memo meeting owner for finished goods
  • Armour relationship and inventory reconciliation
  • New Material / Innovation owner (communication planning / start-up checklist)
  • Vacation coverage as required for Raw material coordinator
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other tasks as directed by the supervisors / managers

Qualifications

  • Strong warehouse/operations background and able to collaborate with both internal and
    external stakeholders, including Armour and various carriers
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Previous experience with Infor, SAP, MS Office, MS Excel will be an asset but not a requirement
  • Demonstrate a high level of autonomy (ability to work under minimal supervision)
  • Great organization skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to follow written procedures for existing processes and equipment
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and high level of dedication
  • Have a positive attitude and attention to details
  • Ability to write, understand and speak English fluently
  • Able to demonstrate an aptitude in writing and mathematics to complete paperwork
    accurately and legibly
