The VP of Operations will drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and ensure delivery across SIS. Supporting and partnering closely with the SIS General Manager, Product Management, Technology and global Centers of Excellence (COEs).

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will deliver T&M revenue,  higher production service value to our clients, streamline internal processes, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable business impact.

The ideal leader combines strong operational acumen with program management expertise and the ability to translate strategic objectives into tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Business Relationship Management

  • Manage the business specific client facing teams
  • Actively participate in client-facing governance meetings
  • Help manage active incident calls as necessary
  • Drive T&M Revenue
  • Partner with account management and sales to ensure SIS related opportunities are created and capitalized on

Client Production Services

  • Oversee teams supporting contracted production operations and ensure service models are efficient, client-centric, and scalable.
  • Optimize team structures and service models to achieve best-in-class client outcomes.
  • Establish and manage KPI reporting to track performance and continuously drive improvement.
  • Define and implement strategies to improve timeliness, quality, and overall client experience of production services.
  • Partner with COEs to ensure client service excellence throughout the production and delivery cycle.

Product and Technology

  • Ensure the Product and Technology (Engineering and Development) are aligned and focused on each line of business priorities and deliverables
  • Maintain and influence LOB level product roadmaps, working with product teams
  • Monitor and control cost across COE’s

Operational and Efficiency 

  • Enhance management processes, analytics, and reporting structures to provide visibility into operational and financial performance.
  • Partner with Finance and HR on headcount, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Drive continuous improvement, fostering a culture rigor, accountability, and measurable success.
  • Achieve key business KPIs and improvement in financial and client satisfaction outcomes.

Business Integration Program

  • Lead remaining operational business integration projects, ensuring associates, clients and business impacts are well understood and managed.  Examples include remediation project advancement and tool implementation, Remedy rolled out to clients, moving data stored in US cloud to Canada cloud, MSU reduction, etc. 
  • Define how to maximize potential Broadridge synergies including Doxim and DCM replacement, and tax synergies. 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in business or operational leadership roles within Financial Services, Fintech, or Technology sectors.
  • Proven track record leading-scale transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong program management capabilities with disciplined execution and proactive leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills within a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and directly manage high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of multi-product portfolios across multiple market sectors.
  • A proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative leadership style suited to complex and dynamic environments.Bottom of Form

Compensation

Salary Range: CAD $240,000- $260,000 . Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location
