Position Summary
On behalf of our valued client, a leader in their industry, Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Training Coordinator / Administrator III. This role is critical in supporting the planning, logistics, and technical delivery of training programs that enhance student capability and business performance.
As the Training Coordinator, you will bridge the gap between traditional administration and modern virtual studio support. You will work closely with managers, instructors, subject matter experts, and industry partners to ensure a seamless learning experience for all participants across Canadian training centres.
Key Responsibilities
Virtual Studio & Tech Support: Provide technical support for virtual training studios and online learning environments in addition to regular administrative tasks.
Training Coordination: Manage registration, logistics, and communications for training courses, college partnerships, and internal learning events.
LMS Administration: Support web-based learning systems (LMS) and provide foundational training and administration support to stakeholders and channel partners.
Reporting & Data Management: Collect, summarize, and report on training activity, completion rates, and program-effectiveness KPIs.
Scheduling & Optimization: Design monthly schedules and monitor course enrollment, waitlists, and capacity to optimize instructor and facility usage.
Administrative Excellence: Produce and update Microsoft documents and databases, and manage a local document-management system for the department.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and external business partners to deliver high-quality professional services.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, recommend enhancements, and help standardize training coordination practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 1.5 to 3 years of experience working independently in training administration, scheduling, or operations support.
Education: High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, human resources, education, or marketing is preferred.
Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal, is highly preferred to support national operations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with instructors, leaders, and external partners.
Core Skills: Strong organizational, numerical, and action-planning skills, with the ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or registration platform.
Experience supporting technical training, instructor-led learning, virtual learning, or onboarding programs.
Familiarity with adult-learning principles or learning-and-development best practices.
Experience coordinating workshops, classrooms, training events, or hands-on learning labs.
Work Environment & Schedule
Hours: 20–30 hours per week, averaging approximately 5–6 hours per day.
Work Setting: Office, training centre, classroom, and virtual training environments supporting both in-person and online programs.
Travel: Occasional travel or schedule flexibility may be required based on course timing and business needs.
