Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Trainer (Moving & Storage Division) to join our client’s growing team in Kingston, ON. In this role you will be working closely with local managers, supervisors, and crew leads, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality skills and knowledge training across the organization. This role supports onboarding, orientation, in‑service instruction, and ongoing mentorship for new and experienced staff.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00 - $30.000/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Kingston, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for all roles in the Moving & Storage Division (drivers, movers, packers, labourers, crew leads).

  • Create structured training plans, materials, and assessments to track learning outcomes.

  • Build training pathways for each employment stage:

    • New hires

    • Experienced new hires

    • Mentor/mentee programs

    • In‑service training for experienced employees

  • Incorporate new processes, procedures, and compliance updates into training content.

  • Ensure training adheres to company policies, standard operating procedures, and governing legislation.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations to support compliance.

  • Partner with the Operations Manager to define core skills, curriculum requirements, and role‑specific competencies.

  • Coordinate with local Supervisors and HR to schedule and deliver training sessions.

  • Coach crew leads to deliver on‑the‑job training and monitor follow‑through to ensure training is completed effectively.

  • Maintain accurate training records for all employees.

  • Track completion rates, learning progress, and certification requirements.

  • Ensure training documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary diploma or degree in a related field.

  • Bondable.

  • Eligible for enhanced reliability security clearance.

  • Clear criminal record check.

  • Acceptable driving record check.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

  • Experience in management, teaching, coaching, or leadership roles.

  • Familiarity with Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety practices.

  • Bilingual (English/French) capability is an asset.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate and mentor diverse teams.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
