POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of BDC's digital transformation, we are looking for innovative and passionate candidates who want to contribute to the development of financing and other services offered to our clients through our digital channels. Our goal is to provide an intuitive and omnichannel self-service customer experience. The development of our digital services relies on automation, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence using an agile delivery approach. The selected candidate will join a team responsible for delivering specific features within a product team.

THE CHALLENGES TO BE MET

We are looking for a Technology Specialist to play a key role in the management and evolution of critical application integration platforms. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise and act as a focal point between multiple teams (IT, architecture, cybersecurity, and internal client teams).

  • Ensure the management, operation and continuous improvement of various application integration platforms.

  • Contribute to the stability, performance, availability, and security of platforms.

  • Collaborate with architecture and cybersecurity teams.

  • Participate in the requirements analysis and the resolution of complex incidents.

  • Provide high-level technical support to customer teams.

  • Work with multiple internal teams (development, infrastructure, security, operations).

  • Ensure effective information sharing and ongoing communication.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies when required.

  • Keep in touch with suppliers on different platforms and participate in regular meetings as needed

  • Actively participate in operational activities and ensure on-call availability to provide 24/7 support

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

  • More than 8 years of experience in IT.

  • Experience in infrastructure, software development and application support.

  • Good understanding of application architectures and integration platforms.

  • Advanced scripting skills in at least one language, such as PowerShell and YAML

  • Experience with containerization and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, Tanzu)

  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, such as AWS and Azure

  • Ability to work independently (on-call support) and as part of a team

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

  • Good writing and documentation skills (Confluence and ServiceNow)

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is essential.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Analytical skills, autonomy and sense of priorities.

  • Knowledge of the following technologies is an asset: Sentinet, MuleSoft, Kafka, Redis, AmazonMQ, Tidal, AS400.
