Join our high-performing Market Operations team as a critical link between financial markets and technology. This role is essential for delivering technology-driven initiatives, providing high-touch customer support for our Derivatives trading and market data lines of business, and ensuring the seamless execution of client certifications and QA testing. Based in our state-of-the-art office in the heart of Montreal’s financial district, you will play a pivotal role in supporting existing clients and shaping the future of our trading ecosystem.

Reports to: Manager, Technical Market Operations

Job Location: This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Montreal, QC.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, covering America's trading hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Occasional flexibility for special events or shift coverage may be required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Technical Support: Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Direct Market Access Vendors, Canadian and Foreign Approved Participants, and Market Data Vendors.

  • Client Certification: Lead and support clients through the application certification process, ensuring their systems meet all technical requirements for trading.

  • Quality Assurance: Execute End User QA Testing for business changes and technology initiatives to maintain platform integrity.

  • Market Intelligence: Gather industry insights and monitor competitor activity to provide actionable recommendations to management and Product Development teams.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate customer communications across internal departments and act as a professional brand ambassador.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and provide recommendations to improve team workflows and operational efficiency.

Must Have(s):

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience within the financial services or capital markets industry.

  • Market Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Market Operations, industry economics, and specifically Derivative and Equity markets.

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to navigate complex technical environments and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Bilinguisme: Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required to support partners and stakeholders in both languages.

  • Soft Skills: A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven, and open environment.

Nice to Have(s):

  • Tooling: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google for Work).

  • Infrastructure: Understanding of network fundamentals and IT components.

  • Triage Tools: Experience with Level 1 triage using tools such as Netscout, Splunk or Wireshark.
