The Role
We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Operations reporting to the Senior Manager, DC Operations. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity, working within our largest Distribution Centre.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise the shift activities within a busy unionized DC environment
- Training of new and existing employees and performance management
- Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met
- Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
- Other responsibilities involve Inventory, Fleet and Warehouse Management, Quality Control, SOX and Audit compliance
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- A post-secondary education
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of operations experience
- Previous experience in a unionized environment a strong asset
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion
- Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports
- Above average communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WSIB regulations would be an asset
- The availability to work all shifts in a 24-hour operation is necessary to succeed in this role
