Adecco is currently hiring a full-time talented and passionate Sous Chef on behalf of our client in Nakusp, BC. This year-round opportunity is ideal for a culinary professional with strong technical skills and a creative approach to elevated pub-style dining.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food quality and memorable guest experiences.

  • Pay Rate: Up to $27/hour

  • Location: Nakusp, BC

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences

  • Assist with daily meal preparation and execution of menu items

  • Contribute to menu planning, feature development, and culinary creativity

  • Support ordering, receiving, and inventory management processes

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels, rotation, and kitchen organization

  • Set up and manage kitchen stations with required prep and supplies

  • Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, quality, and attention to detail

  • Ensure all food handling, storage, and preparation meet health and safety standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safe, and WHMIS guidelines

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Food Safe Certificate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior line cook role

  • Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Strong teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Passion for food, creativity, and continuous improvement

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
