Purpouse

The Retail Risk Analytics Engineering (RRAE) team partners with Global Risk Management (GRM), Regulatory Capital, IFRS9 Provisioning, and Enterprise Stress Testing teams to deliver regulatory and non-regulatory initiatives.

We are seeking a Software Engineer Specialist to contribute in development efforts in a fast-paced environment. You will design and implement solutions for multiple business lines, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to several Cloud Migration Projects, leveraging Cloud Function, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Participate in Application Architecture Design and be fluent in architecture submission process.
• Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
• Drive architecture and design discussions; provide hands-on development.
• Optimize code, conduct reviews, and enforce quality standards.
• Create documentation, flowcharts, and architectural diagrams.
• Support planning, estimation, and scheduling of tasks.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• 3+ years of Python experience; familiarity with software libraries and components.
• Commitment to thorough documentation and collaborative teamwork.

Preferred Skills

• Pandas, NumPy, SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Google Cloud Functions, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, Pub/Sub).
• Familiarity with real time ETL processes and Multiprocessing

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Workplace

Hybrid model: primarily remote with mandatory in-office collaboration 8 times monthly (Bogota). Home-Office (Not in Bogota)
