Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Shipping and Receiving Specialist for our client in the manufacturing and distribution sector in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on SAP experience who can step in and support operations with minimal ramp-up time.

You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials across the facility.

*This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments

  • Store and organize materials, tools, and equipment within the facility

  • Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

  • Maintain accurate records using SAP and shipping/receiving systems

  • Identify and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies

  • Complete shipping and receiving documentation

  • Coordinate inter-departmental movement of materials

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment

  • Working knowledge of SAP (required)

  • Familiarity with inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, and material handling

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment

  • Comfortable performing a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (minimal repetitive lifting)

  • Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, and physical hazards

  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) is an asset

  • Industrial work environment with standard safety protocols

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
