Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail‑oriented and reliable Shipper & Receiver to manage the flow of goods in and out of the facility for our client in Newmarket, ON. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments with couriers, performing all logistical tasks related to shipping, and accurately receiving, inspecting, and entering parts into the client’s database. This role requires you to be organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment that requires lifting and extended standing or walking.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Newmarket, ON
Schedule: 6:30am – 3:00pm

Responsibilities:
Shipper Responsibilities
Coordinate and correspond with couriers regarding all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Arrange shipment setups, provide delivery instructions, and communicate estimated delivery expectations.
Ensure all shipping documents, labels, and processes are completed accurately and on time.
Verify that all outgoing shipments meet quality, accuracy, and packaging standards.
Receiver Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts to ensure items are correct and free of damage.
Accurately input received parts into the client's database.
Report discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately.
Maintain an organized receiving area.
General Shipper & Receiver Duties
Perform inventory-related tasks using SAP or other inventory management software.
Operate efficiently to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, ESD safety shoes, ESD smock).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel).
Knowledge of SAP or other inventory software (asset).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving role.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
