A career in Capital Markets Operations at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the execution and evolution of capital markets and wealth management strategies. 

As a Senior Trading Support Analyst within that team, you act as an OTC operations specialist, contributing directly to the transformation of the sector. Leveraging your knowledge of OTC products, your understanding of financial markets, and your drive to make an impact, you support critical derivatives processes and play an active role in the Bank’s growth, profitability, and strategic ambitions.

Your role
  • Support the OTC traders and marketers for the FX, Interest rate and Treasury businesses
  • Ensure a proper representation of OTC transactions in our different systems
  • Contribute to the integration of new products and other regulatory requirements and/or technologies in our activities
  • Confirmation of FX transactions and short-term financing with our clients and partners.
  • Coordinate and validate transaction settlements by collaborating with our partners
  • Participate in test analysis to ensure an efficient delivery of the different projects
  • Update and optimize our current procedures in place
Your team
As part of the Capital Market Operations sector, you’ll be part of a team of 25 colleagues. Our team stands out for expertise on OTC products, by our active and passionate employees and by our collaboration to the profitability of capital markets. You will be on the front line to support our traders, offering them quality support by constantly bringing in new ideas, by automating existing procedures and suggesting new training methods in your team. You will be the guardian, with your team, of our processes who are constantly evolving with new business opportunities and major initiatives.

Prerequisites
  • Completed bachelor's degree related to the industry, or any relevant experience
  • Experience in Capital Market Operations
  • Knowledge of different systems (Murex, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg or Reuters)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and Excel software (VBA, Macros, pivot tables, dynamic tables, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of derivative products in general and/or securities lending
  • Experience in resolving issues on complex financial transactions
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment, with a proactive, flexible, and resourceful mindset
