Senior Software License Specialist, Brampton, ON
As the Senior Software License Specialist within our Asset Management Office, you will work directly with the Asset Management Senior Manager and contribute to the ongoing enrichment of Loblaw’s asset management program. You will actively work with product teams to meet their business and operational requirements by assisting in managing the data, processes and solutions to achieve the desired outcomes and contracted services.
What you will do:
- Assist in analyzing software license purchase and discovery data for the purposes of reconciliation and remediation tasks.
- Work closely with asset owners to collect data, drive strategic discussions and respond to asset inquiries as required.
- Provide end-user functional support for Asset Management tools and complete reporting requirements as required to support business decisions.
- Provide regular communication and reporting to internal and external team members on the status of team initiatives
- Demonstrate your asset management industry knowledge to recommend best practices for the improvement of our services
What you Bring:
- Knowledge of software vendor licensing rules and terms including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics highlighting your ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources
- Energetic, creative and results-focused individual, who provides excellent customer service and communicates well at multiple levels of interaction
- Solid grasp of asset management tools like SCCM, Service Now CMDB and Flexera
- Experience working collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals where you have demonstrated your intuitive problem-solving skills and ability to influence others
