Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Wealth Management team is building new squad and we are looking for talented, highly motivated, and passionate team players to join our Client Management Development Team.   You will be directly involved in the planning, design, and delivery of functional enhancements and/or modernization efforts to meet business and technology objectives.  You will be working collaboratively with members of your own team as well as across various departments to achieve desired outcomes, and to align to enterprise strategy.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Provides information on the detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
​Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.
Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.
Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?


Must-have
•B.S. degree in Computer Science / related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
•3+ years of experience with JavaScript (preferably NodeJS)
•Experience building message driven architectures (Kafka)
•Advanced knowledge and experience with at least one back-end application framework (we use ExpressJS)
•Understanding of REST, Graph API design and experience with designing, developing and testing API specifications (Swagger / OpenAPI, RAML, etc.)
•Experience working within the full professional software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, testing and deployments
•Ability to simplify complex problems


Nice-to-have
•Experience working within an Agile framework
•RDBMS and/or modern scale-out repositories (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
•Understanding of micro-services architecture, design and implementation (load balancing, discovery, resiliency, etc.)
•Understanding of DevOps / continuous delivery deployment processes
