Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Senior Manager leads an operations team responsible for adjudicating and administering commissions earned for eligible sales transactions fulfilled by Mortgage Specialists. They are accountable for all day to day compensation processes, including commission recoveries, process quality assurance routines, inquiry and dispute management, as well as special requests for treatment outside of compensation program parameters. The Senior Manager ultimately ensures commissions processed by the team are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

What will you do?

  • Oversee team and employee productivity/performance against volume, quality and service level targets.

  • Change manage strategic initiatives that directly impact Mortgage Specialist compensation operations.

  • Execute process and process control changes to successfully operationalize compensation initiatives.

  • Realize productivity gains through standardization, process streamlining, automation and embracing a continuous improvement culture.

  • Develop, evolve, and maintain procedures, operational guides, job aids and tools required to ensure clarity of end-to-end process execution.

  • Represent the Incentive Compensation Delivery team cross-functionally with critical stakeholders across the compensation eco-system, including senior leaders.

  • Leverage data insights to openly communicate key messages related to operational performance.

  • Use a fact-based approach to develop action plans in response to operational risk and opportunity.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • At least 7 years banking experience in an Operations production environment.

  • Strong people management capabilities leading teams of more than 10 direct reports.

  • Experience applying change management methodology to execute operational change.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-based environment and manage competing priorities.

  • Solid understanding of Home Equity Finance products.

  • Highly capable of building impactful cross-functional relationships.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
