Summary

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Sales Manager, Business role is an integral component in driving Bell’s Wireline and Wireless growth strategy in Western Canada. The successful candidate will have the accountability for Bell’s growth, upsell, cross-sell & retention strategies for the Calgary market. The Regional Sales Manager will also be required to maintain a solid understanding of new products and services as they become available and relate this knowledge all teams on a regular basis.

Our Bell Business Markets team enables the digital transformation of businesses through solutions in areas including Internet, voice and unified communications, Wireless Services & Internet of Things.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Sales Management best practices, including methodology centered on: motivating, coaching and mentoring Sales Executives; funnel/opportunity management; adoption and use of sales effectiveness tools; and fostering a true Sales Culture within the company
  • Manage a high performance sales team in a competitive business environment including developing account plans, territory management plans, activity/funnel management and forecasting
  • Manage sales activity and ensure adherence to key performance metrics required to achieve results
  • Interface with and sell to corporate customers including (but not limited to): commercial, energy sector, transportation, construction, agriculture, and public sector, geographically located across the Calgary region.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to manage current product portfolio, pricing and contractual requirements
  • Assign and re-assign resources based on market, customer, employee and Bell shareholder needs

Critical Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years in a similar sales manager role, preferably within the wireless & wireline industry
  • Comfortable adapting to a constantly changing environment
  • Be mobile and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Your knowledge and involvement in the Calgary market will be considered a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, negotiate, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong knowledge of IT, Networking
