As a Senior Manager, Risk Management for the Wealth Management sector, you will have a 360o view of the sector's operational risks. It means rolling out operational risk management tools, influence risk management decisions, identifying drivers of change and emerging risks, and advising the line of business leaders on actions ought to be taken to mitigate risks.
Your role:
- Ensure the deployment of the operational risk management framework within Wealth Management;
- Have a good understanding of the business and the risk challenges within the sector;
- Ensure the efficiency of operational risk management by prioritizing interventions according to the risks incurred;
- Coach and supervise operational risk managers of the sector’s various business lines;
- Maintain the sector's risk environment and ensure the deployment of the risk self-assessment plan for the sector's units and projects;
- Manage the various operational events within the sector, including those generating losses;
- Conduct external event analysis and participate in scenario analysis;
- Be a member of the corporate crisis cell and the coordinator of the sector crisis cell;
- Coordinate the various activities related to the quarterly reporting and present the integrated risk report to the sector executive committee;
- Interact regularly with various stakeholders such as Operational Risk Management (Corporate), Compliance, BISO (Business Information Security Officer), Internal Audit, various IT partners, Third Party Risk Management, Legal Affairs, Financial Governance, Fraud Risk Management, Business Continuity, Employee Experience,
Being the leader of the Risk Management team also means actively participating in the transformation of operational risk, at the organizational level, through the various projects underway. It also means working in close collaboration with the Risk Manager Leaders of the other Bank’s sectors and several corporate functions to evolve our practices. This position reports to the Vice President, Business Strategy - Wealth Management.

Competencies required
- Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience or master’s degree related to the industry and 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in operational risk
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment
- Knowledge of the Wealth Management industry
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will work closely with colleagues outside Quebec
