We are looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our entrepreneurial, fast-paced, collaborative team. Together, we will be working towards transforming the way Canadians shop for products to help them take charge of the way they age.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Category Management, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering the strategic direction and execution of the Wellwise Marketing plan. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for all things in-store as well as ensuring that all digital properties are optimized and operating to drive strong results and a valuable experience for our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy and owned media channel strategies (websites, email and social) to drive awareness, sales and traffic to our e-commerce site, and store locations, aligned with overall Wellwise priorities
- Lead the strategy and execution of ‘above and below-the-line’ marketing campaigns to support our Brand, store locations and e-commerce and B2B
- Develop and execute social media plans to drive growth of our Facebook community and engagement, while looking for new opportunities to grow the brand’s social footprint
- Manage and optimize SEM/SEO tactics and campaigns according to marketplace trends, media buy and overall business requirements
- Create content strategy to support all initiatives (email, websites, social, in-store, community partnerships, etc.)
- Develop and implement plans to acquire new and retain existing customers for our online and retails business
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (eCommerce, Category Management, SDM Marketing, Media Team, PR, etc.) to integrate marketing tactics into new and existing programs
- Manage & on-board external agency partners
- Deliver strong analytics and reporting on digital marketing performance across all channels
- Manage, maintain and report on the overall marketing budget (SDM Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Promo & Flyer), submit and monitor purchase orders and other various tasks pertaining to budget management
- Collaborate with SLT on Multi-Year Marketing Plans to reflect current business needs, opportunities and brand/digital marketing specific requirements
- Lead process & timeline improvements for business marketing requests
- Assist with marketing support on internal community led events
- Manage, execute and maintain external vendor marketing opportunities on owned Wellwise channels in-store and online
- Develop & update Marketing requirement documents for internal and external creative agencies, relating to brand standards and owned platform requirements
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Communications or similar)
- 5+ years of hands on experience managing the marketing of an e-commerce site, digital marketing tactics, managing social media platforms, traffic acquisition, SEO, SEM, paid social media, affiliate, display and retargeting
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and ambiguous environment
- Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task, set measurable objectives, manage defined timelines and budgets for each campaign
- Experience operating in cross-functional work environments
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Experience using analytic platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook analytics
- Results-oriented with demonstrated analytical skills
