A career as a Senior Director of IT Delivery in the Wealth Management team at National Bank means acting as a strategic and transformational leader, responsible for a high-impact IT delivery and technological innovation portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, excellence in execution and mobilizing leadership, with a strong focus on business results and the concrete impact of initiatives.

Your job

  • Be accountable for the delivery of IT value for a strategic wealth management portfolio
  • Ensure overall performance in terms of velocity, quality and predictability of delivery
  • Guide teams towards measurable objectives focused on business results and ensure the stability, security and performance of technological systems
  • Define and implement an innovation strategy that integrates AI, automation, and advanced analytics capabilities
  • Identify and deploy use cases to improve productivity and operational efficiency
  • Integrate emerging technologies to improve service delivery and customer experience and ensure responsible adoption of technologies in compliance with governance and compliance standards
  • Lead, mobilize and develop a multidisciplinary team of IT, data and product professionals
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability
  • Support the transformation of teams towards new delivery modes (agility, product, AI-augmented teams) and develop talent by supporting their evolution
  • Define and manage a technology roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Ensure alignment between IT initiatives, strategic objectives and business line needs
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to maximize value delivered
  • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of strategic initiatives and implement governance mechanisms that support timely and effective decision-making
  • Track profit realization and investment performance

Your team

IT and operations is made up of more than 5,500 experts who work in an agile, proactive and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.

Within the IT – Wealth Management sector. You report to the Senior Director, IT Wealth Management Delivery. In your role, you will contribute to a major transformation of wealth management and the integration of AI technologies at scale. You will have a direct impact on performance and the evolution of technological capabilities and evolve in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment. Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field (master's degree, an asset) with a minimum of 15 years of experience in information technology
  • Significant experience in management or leadership roles
  • Experience in delivering complex programs in large environments
  • Knowledge of technology trends and modern delivery approaches
  • Experience or strong understanding of the following areas:
    • Artificial Intelligence and Automation
    • Data Platforms & Analytics
  • Modern architectures (cloud, API, microservices)
  • Knowledge of the wealth management or financial services industry is an asset
  • Ability to drive organizational and technological change.
