We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Senior Audit Manager (Corporate Services) to actively support the department’s mission of enhancing and protecting organizational value by providing risk-based independent and objective assurance, advice, and insights.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director Audit, you will be empowered to:
Showcase Your Expertise
Contribute to the development of the Annual Audit Plan
Develop the resource plan, schedule and scope for engagements
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements that promote risk mitigation
Champion the Quality Assurance & Improvement Program by ensuring high quality audit files and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership
Provide Leadership
As an individual contributor work alongside audit team members to motivate, coach and guide them throughout assigned audit engagements
Employ the agile methodology in overseeing and managing multiple concurrent audit engagements, testing of controls, and initiatives
Liaise and collaborate with the Risk & Audit team and Subject Matter Experts on key considerations during audit planning
Stay current and up-to-date with process, product and structural changes in OLG, changes in industry practice, AGCO regulations and information technology to ensure OLG’s risk and control environment is in line with current best practices
Generate Insights and Build Relationships
Provide customized risk and control advice and related consulting services to enable a better understanding of risks, opportunities, and potential impacts on OLG’s strategic priorities
Work with Leadership on timely action plans and monitor progress to ensure appropriate control and risk mitigation measures are taken
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Understand stakeholder expectations, value drivers and solicit feedback through regular touchpoints to foster continuous improvement
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience within the audit field
Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business, Finance or a related field
Professional Designation: You are or are working towards becoming a CPA, CIA, CISA, CAMS etc.
Skills & Knowledge: With strong analytical and critical thinking skills, you have expert knowledge of audit management practices and frameworks such as COSO, IIA Standards and other relevant regulations and policies
Assets: Experience auditing in a multi-service organization, broad understanding of OLG business units and the service provider environment, experience with analyzing data and strong project management expertise
Results Driven: As a strong communicator, problem solver and negotiator, you balance deadlines and deliver quality work
Leadership and Collaboration: A natural leader and relationship builder who demonstrates confidence and integrity
Licenses/registrations: AGCO Category 2 Gaming Assistant Registration (Initiated at offer stage - employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining this license)
