A career in Wealth Management Credit Risk at National Bank means protecting the firm's capital and minimizing the business risk related to client transactions. As a senior analyst, you will have to determine the borrowing power and collaborate in the analysis of the performance of products, systems or processes. To optimize systems and work processes, you will analyze and provide information for decision-making.

Your job:

  • Perform analysis of accumulation, securities concentration and market risks and ensure the production of reports
  • Analyze concentration situations and coordinate appropriate interventions by establishing restrictive parameters on the potential loan value
  • Ensure an acceptable level of risk for the firm in margin, options and short selling accounts
  • Make recommendations and negotiate restrictive parameters with investment advisors on maximum loan values for specific accounts and securities
  • Determine maximum loan value for Commercial escrow accounts
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
  • Participate in the implementation of new financial products or services
  • Research and analyze economic and financial data in different sectors of economic activity
  • Work jointly with compliance and legal departments on legal aspects

Your team:

As a member of the Credit Risk team for Wealth Management, you will be part of a team of colleagues in Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Privacy, and you will report to the Manager, Credit Risk.

 Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and one year of relevant experience OR University Certificate/PUB 1st cycle and three years of relevant experience
  • Have completed the following courses: CSC, Introduction to Derivatives and Options Trading and Code of Conduct
  • Master the IIROC Rule 5000
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Access
  • Excellent knowledge and interest in following financial markets
  • Experience with investment advisors
