Job Description:

​​Senior Agile Delivery Advisor​ 

 

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to ​​support value streams and teams in maximizing their performance by ensuring the right culture, mindsets, and behaviours through new ways of working. They also lead engagements that diagnose delivery challenges, co-create fit-for-purpose solutions, and foster sustainable agility​.​ 

 

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME 

 

Reporting to the ​Director IT Delivery Enablement​, you will be empowered to:  

  • Empower Teams: Enable EIT teams to deliver iteratively and incrementally through value-driven delivery principles, agile practices, and continuous improvement aligned with EIT frameworks. 

  • Coach and Mentor: Guide teams on modern delivery principles, practices, and continuous improvement strategies.   

  • Facilitate Delivery: Lead planning, prioritization, manage cross-team dependencies and delivery alignment, including release sequencing, environment readiness, multi-team testing, and deployment for cohesive delivery. 

  • Champion Agility: Drive cultural and behavioral shifts toward agility and customer-centricity.   

  • Enable Self-Organization: Help technology solution delivery teams organize effectively to maximize value.   

  • Collaborate Across OLG: Align delivery approaches across divisions for complex, cross-functional initiatives.   

  • Bridge Communication: Ensure transparency between product, technology, and business teams.   

  • Guide Adoption: Support the transition to a product-oriented delivery model by leading change readiness assessments, develop tailored change strategies and plans, and guide teams through integration of new ways of working. 

  • Solve Challenges: Diagnose delivery issues and co-create tailored solutions through systems thinking, structured problem-solving, and adoption of new tools and practices. 

  • Partner for Success: Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, aligning expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring delivery outcomes are understood and supported. 

  • Apply Expertise: Promote knowledge sharing and learning by designing and delivering workshops, maintaining knowledge assets, and supporting team capability development. 

  • Influence Vendor Collaboration: Help EIT teams improve ways of working with external vendors—many of whom operate in traditional, waterfall environments—by driving transparency and agility through influence and change management.  

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME 

​​Education & Experience: ​

  • ​Undergraduate degree in business, information technology, or related discipline.  

  • ​​5-7 years’ experience in agile delivery, release train, or similar project management experience including Scrum Master, Product Owner, Kanban Service Delivery/Request Manager, Flow Manager.  ​   

  • ​Proven experience transforming multiple organizations from traditional project practices to iterative, value-driven delivery, including vendor relationships.  

​ 

​Relevant Skills: 

  • ​Ability to coach and advocate at multiple levels (e.g. team members, directors, senior leadership).   

  • ​Skilled at managing organizational dynamics and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. 

  • ​Crafting structured, compelling narratives for senior audiences and steering committees. 

  • ​Significant understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies to coach and embed behaviours. 

  • ​A strong grasp of modern development technologies, automated testing, development lifecycles, flows and system integration patterns (Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, DevOps, etc.).  

  • ​The ability to apply problem-solving skills and knowledge of Information Technology systematically to a variety of complex delivery contexts.  

  • ​Working across both waterfall project management and within Agile frameworks.  

  • ​Ability to connect team-level work to broader portfolio outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value streams.  

  • ​Skilled at helping teams and leaders visualize work across multiple initiatives, manage capacity and sequencing, and make prioritization trade-offs.  

  • ​Able to identify systemic delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and portfolio bottlenecks—and guide stakeholders toward adaptive solutions. 

  • ​Knowledge of Atlassian suite capabilities and understanding of integration with other systems such as GitHub, ServiceNow, TeamCity.  

  • ​Configuring Atlassian Apps, including Jira/Confluence Project workflows, screens, automation, analytics, dashboards.
