What you can expect 

Our Salesforce practitioners are key members of our broader Platforms team. As a Tech Lead, you will be tasked with providing the technical leadership required to design, develop, and deliver robust, cross-cutting capabilities for optimal reuse across the organization.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers in the hands-on implementation, configuration, and development of the various components of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

• Drive the technical vision and strategy for the Salesforce platform, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in line with project timelines.

• Own the solution design and architecture across the entire project lifecycle, from inception and requirements gathering through to implementation, deployment, and long-term maintenance.

• Act as the primary technical authority on the team, guiding them through complex challenges and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and evangelizing the latest Salesforce enhancements and releases, and articulating how they can bring strategic benefits to Definity.

What you bring 

• 8+ years of experience leading IT projects on Salesforce technology platforms, with a proven track record of full-cycle implementations.

• Expert-level Salesforce development knowledge (Apex Trigger Frameworks, Schedulable / Batch / Queueable Apex, Custom REST Services) and the ability to set and enforce best practices.

• Extensive UI design and development experience with Lightning Web Components, with a portfolio of leading the development of complex user interfaces.

• Deep knowledge in Software Product Development processes and mastery in the design and implementation of DevOps Enablement tools (e.g. GIT, CI/CD, JIRA).

• A profound understanding of platform integration patterns and APIs, with proven experience architecting and leading the integration of multiple complex systems.

• The ability to own and lead solution discussions, make critical technical decisions, and develop technical solutions with minimal guidance.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, facilitation of decision making, documentation, and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Proven experience leading projects with the Agile methodology.

Nice to have:

• Additional Salesforce certifications, particularly in specialty areas.

• SFMC implementation and development experience.

• Experience with legacy technologies like Visualforce pages and Aura components for modernization projects.

• Experience in leading large-scale data migration projects.

Salary Range: $108,700 - $158,700
