The Boudreau Laboratory is developing natural killer (NK) cells as allogeneic cellular immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer. We use primary cells from healthy human donors and patients with cancer, as well as cell lines and model systems, including 3D culture systems and mouse models, to rigorously test the hypothesis that NK cells’ intrinsic functional diversity can be leveraged as precision medicine.
The Research Technician ensures the continuous day-to-day functioning of the laboratory by supporting biobanking activities, record keeping, inventory management, and PCR-based genotyping. The research technician additionally aids in experiments related to the laboratory’s project when additional assistance is needed (i.e. sample processing, record keeping, running independent experimental components).
