Adecco is currently recruiting a Quality Supervisor for a permanent position with our client in Arnprior, ON. This is a 100% onsite position. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Controlled Goods Clearance.

  • Pay rate: $52,000 – 65, 000 | Benefits: Health, Vision & Dental from Day 1 | Vacation: 2 weeks + 7 sick days and 1 PTO

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

The Quality Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily quality control operations, including incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product audits.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards across all production activities.

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, calibration logs, and corrective action reports.

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities.

  • Train and mentor quality inspectors on inspection techniques, documentation, and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with production, product line and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

  • Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, rework percentages, audit findings).

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean concepts and A3 problem-solving methodologies.

  • Ensure proper handling and traceability of ballistic materials and finished armor products.                                                                                                                        

The Facilitator Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems (QMS).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality supervision within manufacturing; defense or PPE industry preferred.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor.

  • Visual acuity for detailed inspections.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
