Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented Quality Inspector (LAB) to support inspection and quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment  for our client in Newmarket, ON. In this role, you will ensure incoming materials meet engineering specifications and quality standards while supporting supplier quality and continuous improvement efforts.

*As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role 

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

  • Location: Newmarket, ON

  • Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming electrical and mechanical components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications

  • Use inspection tools such as microscopes, optical comparators, gauges, CMMs, and hand tools to verify dimensions and tolerances

  • Assess visual and physical integrity of materials and components

  • Initiate and process non-conformance reports and incoming inspection rejections

  • Coordinate return of non-conforming materials to suppliers

  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers with inspection results and disposition activities

  • Maintain accurate records and system transactions related to inspections

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment (preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical component datasheets

  • Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in PC and Windows-based applications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders

  • Quality-focused mindset

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

  • Team collaboration and communication

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
