In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the alignment of strategic priorities through effective project management, program evaluation, and comprehensive reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring initiatives are executed efficiently and support the organization’s long-term goals. Success in this role requires someone who is proactive, exercises sound judgment, and thrives both independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with project partners to develop and analyze project planning initiatives, define tasks and timelines, and drive successful completion of deliverables on time and within budget for cross-organizational projects. Support leadership in the identification of essential initiatives and deliverables, implementation planning, alignment of priorities, and monitoring of timelines and tasks across the organization.
• Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope; develop and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Monitor and assess project risks; escalate issues related to strategy implementation and performance as appropriate.
• Effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and expectations to team members and partners in a timely and clear manner.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end activity and budget reports; report on project milestones and key metrics to internal and external collaborators.
• Build and strengthen partnerships (e.g., hospitals, community agencies, primary care providers) through strategic outreach and effective relationship management.
• Collaborate with departmental and program teams to ensure aligned implementation plans and performance measurement systems.
• Coordinate and facilitate recurring meetings, develop agendas, identify barriers to progress, and lead issue resolution.
• Support external relations and advocacy initiatives by drafting strategically aligned position papers, proposals, briefing notes, and business cases in collaboration with clinical and corporate teams.
• Partner with the Finance department to manage project-related expenses and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop, monitor, and report on performance and outcome metrics that support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.

As a role model and champion, you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.
The responsibilities described above are representative and are not to be construed as all-inclusive.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field or Health Administration is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects using project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of the project life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans aligned with organizational objectives and strong understanding of strategy implementation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a complex and evolving healthcare environment.
• Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital.
• This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all.
