We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator Co-Op in our Vancouver office. In this role you will be assisting Project Managers and Senior Project Coordinators on one or more projects. This will allow growth potential as you will be exposed to design and construction team members, and project management processes. You will have the support and mentorship of our Project Management team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of cost, schedule and document management functions on project(s).
  • Assist with project tracking and communications with the clients, project teams, and other project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute project correspondence and meeting notes.
  • Conduct general QA/QC activities in Project Document Control (document numbering, document register, version control, etc.) Support the preparation of regular Progress Reports (internal and external).
  • Participate and coordinate project team activities and interact effectively with Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, and other consultants or stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Demonstrated skill at organizing and planning work within tight deadlines.
  • Detailed attention to requirements and ensuring quality work.
  • The ability to work independently and maintain productivity, unsupervised.
  • The discipline to maintain required safe work procedures in any environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to contribute positively to and flourish in a team focused environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong computer skills and literacy in software including MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel.
  • Experience with specialty software such as MS Project, Primavera, and document control software will be considered an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program, preferably Engineering or Architecture.

Pay Range:

• $23.37 - $32.07 Hourly

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
