Project Closeout Coordinator

Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Closeout Coordinator in our Edmonton office. In this role you will report through our Field Team Lead on multiple projects. This will allow growth potential as you will be exposed to clients, design and construction team members, program and project management processes, and strong project leaders. You will have the support and mentorship of our leadership and Project Management team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inspections with municipalities, developers, and contractors
  • Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed reports, cost estimates, and deficiency assessments
  • Manage CCC/FAC documentation packages and submit to municipal authorities
  • Preparing CCC/FAC applications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to support inspections, POR preparation, and repair coordination
  • Review servicing agreements to confirm obligations, timelines, and infrastructure requirements
  • Track maintenance periods, schedule repairs, and verify completion of contract items
  • Perform onsite construction monitoring
  • Maintain and update project certificate tracking spreadsheets
  • Act as primary contact for surface FAC improvements and municipal correspondence
  • Streamline internal processes, including digital submissions to ePlan/eServices
  • Confirming measurements and payment of actual quantities including concrete and asphalt items

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in a related field.
  • 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Acquired project management experience through on-the job consulting projects
  • Be familiar with construction repair methods for surface FAC requirements
  • Have a strong understanding of municipal construction design standards across multiple jurisdictions

Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
