Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Associate to join our client’s Manufacturing Production team in Kanata, ON. In this role, you will support the assembly, soldering, inspection, and repair of circuit board products in a high-quality production environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technician with strong attention to detail, experience in precision soldering, and the ability to work with advanced manufacturing processes and standards.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, soldering, de-soldering, inspection, and repair of electronic components and circuit boards
Operate soldering equipment, including work under a microscope for fine-pitch components
Follow production schedules and work instructions provided by the Supervisor
Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately
Support various areas of manufacturing as needed
Handle and lift consumable materials required for production processes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute recommendations
Participate in Health & Safety initiatives, including spill response or safety committees where applicable
Maintain compliance with all workplace safety policies and procedures
Support rotating shifts (3-shift rotation) as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Technician Diploma OR Grade 12 with equivalent education
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
Certification or training in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
Strong experience with Tin-Lead and Lead-Free soldering, including fine-pitch work under a microscope
Experience working with SMT and PTH components in a PWB assembly environment
Ability to remove and replace components, including fine-pitch and through-hole devices
Experience applying Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to circuit boards
Strong understanding of workmanship standards and defect recognition
Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings
Experience with BGA and CGA component handling (preferred)
Knowledge of IPC Class III standards is highly desirable
Working knowledge of SAP and computer systems
Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
Leadership experience is considered an asset
Requires precision work using microscopes and specialized tools
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
