Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Assistant - Conformal Coating to join our client’s manufacturing team with Celestica in Newmarket, ON. In this role you will be responsible for applying protective coatings and potting compounds to a variety of circuit boards and assemblies to meet customer specifications. This position ensures that electronic components are properly encapsulated and protected, contributing to the high quality and reliability of the final product.

  • Pay Rate: $20.33/hour

  • Location: New Market, ON

  • Shift: Afternoons | 3:00pm – 11:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Operate various dispensing and coating machines to apply protective coatings according to specifications.

  • Work safely with chemicals and compounds required for coating and potting.

  • Mask and/or tape off areas of circuit boards that must remain free of coating or potting material.

  • Inspect assemblies to verify proper coating coverage and overall quality.

  • Maintain, clean, and change fluids or mixers on coating and dispensing machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • Remove excess coating material and perform manual touch-ups to maintain consistent high-quality standards.

  • Transport racks of circuit boards to different workstations to advance the manufacturing process.

  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of various materials used in the coating and potting process.

  • Complete all required Specific Function Training courses as assigned.

  • Support additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor to meet changing production needs.

  • Exhibit flexibility and a collaborative approach, understanding that tasks outside normal responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission and goals

Qualifications:

  • Ability and willingness to work with chemicals and follow all safety protocols.

  • Previous experience operating dispensing and coating equipment is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect and maintain high quality standards.

  • Ability to follow written work instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Must be willing to complete required training and demonstrate adaptability to changing production requirements.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
