Role overview
As a Product Manager at Cognizant, you will have the outstanding opportunity to contribute to the success of our product and project management initiatives. You will play a crucial role in developing the product roadmap and successfully implementing projects. We are seeking someone with expertise in Agile PLM project budgeting and managing relationships with stakeholders to join our rapidly growing team.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will:
- Develop a product strategy that aligns with our business strategy, ensuring that our products directly chip in to our success.
- Define and write product specifications, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
- Build and be responsible for the product roadmap, guiding the development and evolution of our products.
- Partner with Business, Product/Tech owners, and Operation Leaders to understand long-term capabilities and initiatives that need to be led in-line with our organizational goals.
- Successfully lead programs/projects on scope, time, and budget, ensuring that we deliver outstanding results.
- Coordinate projects using Agile methodologies across multiple tech teams, promoting collaboration and streamlining workflows.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams, ensuring that they have the mentorship they need to deliver outstanding products.
What you bring to the role
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- 12-16 Years of experience in project planning and execution, emphasizing effective cost management.
- Talent in Agile PLM and MS Project, enabling you to effectively handle projects.
- Expertise in project invoicing, budgeting, and partner management, ensuring the financial success of our projects.
- A solid grasp of project risk, scope, quality, and time management, allowing you to navigate sophisticated projects with ease.
- Proficiency in project tracking, estimation, and planning, allowing you to effectively supervise project progress and outcomes.
- Nice to have experience as a Scrum Master and familiarity with Scrum methodologies, bringing additional value to our Agile projects.
- Demonstrated ability in Cruise and Self-service Kiosk is a plus, giving you a deeper understanding of the industry.
Working arrangements
