Overview

The Role: Processing Operator

 

Join our team in Kentville, Nova Scotia, and be part of something uniquely exciting – helping

produce the only Fried Cheetos Puffs made in Canada. As a Processing Operator, you’ll play a

key role in bringing a fun, iconic snack to life while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented

manufacturing environment.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to

ensure efficient and consistent output. You will follow detailed production schedules, adjust

machinery as needed, and help maintain a smooth workflow across the processing line. A

strong focus on safety is essential, as you’ll be expected to operate all equipment in accordance

with company standards and procedures.

 

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. You will help ensure every batch meets our high

standards for taste, texture, and appearance, while strictly adhering to food safety and

sanitation guidelines. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to excellence

will set you up for success in this role.

Compensation: 

$26.58 per hour


Responsibilities

  • Working with team members to achieve targets
  • Operating food production machinery
  • Setting up and preparing equipment for changeovers
  • Ensuring optimal Quality & Food Safety by following established procedures and processes
  • Working safely and following LOTO procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Able to stand and work at pace for 12hrs
  • Previous relatable work experience in food manufacturing or processing
  • General experience with Lockout Tagout procedures
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Open minded and works well under pressure
