  • Ensure a positive, compliant, and consistent onboarding experience for all employees.
  • Administer and apply People & Culture policies, programs, and procedures in alignment with SAMI’s Employee Handbook and Privacy Policy.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment standards, privacy legislation, and internal requirements.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR Technology to support data accuracy, onboarding workflows, and union‑specific needs.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safety‑focused culture aligned with SAMI’s values.
  • Support People & Culture initiatives related to engagement, performance, leadership development, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance People & Culture processes, tools, and employee experience in a fast‑growing manufacturing organization.
  • Stay current on legislation, market trends, and best practices; perform other duties as assigned.
