This Part-Time Academic will be required to direct the Dalhousie University Chorus from September 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027 (Fall Term 2026 and Winter Term 2027). Rehearsals are held weekly, resulting in a public performance each term. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: organization of the participants; scheduling, planning, and preparation of rehearsals and concerts; and overseeing the maintenance and organization of scores used by the ensemble.

The instructor must coordinate with the Associate Director of Productions and the productions administrator on selecting concert repertoire as part of developing the School’s multi-year plan. The instructor is expected to announce the end-of-term student ratings/evaluations of instruction. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
