The Expertech team is responsible for provisioning Bell Canada’s network, ensuring the job is completed on time, within budget, and to the customer’s quality standards. Major Accountabilities
Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Leads and manages network projects from start to finish using accepted project management tools and techniques
- Provides proactive and corrective management, analysis, development and maintenance of the Expertech data networks, their components and their direct peripherals.
- Provides 2nd level support of the Expertech data network.
- Installs, configures, monitors, and proactively maintains and upgrades network hardware and software including but not limited to the upgrade of operating systems, the installation of service packs and the upgrade of application software, as required.
- Manages network systems to ensure performance is optimized and meets user expectations.

- Nice to have Algosec firewall analyzer experience.
- Nice to have Veritas NetBackup experience.
- Nice to have Symantec Endpoint Encryption.
- Nice to have Cisco Umbrella experience.
- Nice to have Manage engine Service desk, Desktop central, Event Log Analyser, OP manager, AD audit, AD manager.
- Nice to have Airwatch or MDM experience
Specific Experience
- Technical expertise in the administration of Microsoft Networks and their components and peripherals (particularly Windows 2022, Exchange 2019, Proxy, Cluster).
- Solid Understanding of the design, configuration and administration of LAN/WAN routers, switches and hubs (particularly Cisco products) and network protocols (particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Technical expertise in the configuration and administration of network and server equipment and systems.
- Solid understanding of network security and protection technologies (e.g. intrusion detection, firewalls, anti-virus, load balancing etc.).
- Hands on working knowledge of either Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls
- The ability to independently manage a project from start to finish.
- Must have the ability to research and resolve issues or vulnerabilities independently.
- Must display sound judgment and excellent communication skills to interact appropriately across all levels within the company and with external suppliers, customers, contractors, etc

University Degree or College diploma in related field, or equivalent level of experience with certifications
- Years of Experience Required:
- 1 - 5 years relevant experience.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
