Adecco, in partnership with our client, is hiring a full-time, highly skilled Millwright Supervisor to join their maintenance team in Hamilton, ON. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all maintenance and repair activities for industrial equipment, ensuring peak performance, reliability, and safety throughout the facility. You will play a vital part in maximizing equipment uptime, supporting production efficiency, and leading a team of experienced maintenance technicians. 

  • Pay Rate: $48.00/hour

  • Location: Hamilton, ON

  • Schedule: Afternoons | 2:0pm – 11:00pm

  • Job type: Permanent| Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians on the afternoon shift.

  • Provide ongoing support, training, and performance guidance to ensure high work standards.

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.

  • Ensure timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential equipment failures.

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance during planned downtime.

  • Coordinate resources, tools, and materials required for maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Initiate and manage maintenance projects including upgrades, modifications, and equipment replacements.

  • Maintain accurate work orders, inspection records, and maintenance logs.

  • Track and report on equipment performance, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Support continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid 433A Industrial Millwright License (mandatory).

  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop a maintenance team.

  • In‑depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.

  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
