Adecco is currently hiring an Mechanical Assembler for a full-time position in a production environment. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling parts, components, and products using various tools and equipment while following technical specifications and safety standards. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, accuracy, and efficiency on the production floor.

  • Pay Rate: $20/hour

  • Location: Brockville, ON

  • Schedule: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)

  • Contract: Temporary or temp-to-perm

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications to assemble products accurately

  • Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools

  • Install mechanical equipment, piping, components, and support structures according to specifications

  • Handle a variety of materials, from large components to small intricate parts

  • Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and adjustment to meet inspection and quality standards

  • Assist with final system assembly or installation at customer sites when required

  • Support team members across departments (Team Leads, Electrical, Test teams) to meet production goals

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Follow all company safety policies and report hazards, near misses, or incidents promptly

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to company processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment

  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
