Adecco is currently hiring a Marketing Manager for a full-time 20-month contract position based in Ottawa, ON or Toronto, ON. This opportunity is ideal for a data-driven marketing professional with experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, and performance analytics. In this role, you will help streamline marketing processes, enhance marketing infrastructure, and support the delivery of strategic marketing initiatives through data insights and operational efficiency.

As a Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams including Sales, Technology, Product, and Finance to optimize marketing workflows, manage marketing technology platforms, and measure program effectiveness. You will play a key role in ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with corporate strategy and supported by strong analytics, reporting, and operational processes.

  • Location: Ottawa, ON or Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week: Tuesday and Wednesday)

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities:

  • Develop streamlined marketing workflows and customer journeys to improve the efficiency and productivity of the marketing organization.

  • Manage the operation, enhancement, and optimization of marketing technology platforms and data infrastructure, supporting modernization and improved customer relationship management aligned with business goals.

  • Partner with leadership to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness and performance of marketing initiatives and programs.

  • Monitor, track, and report on KPIs to evaluate marketing performance and overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Technology, Product, and Finance to support the delivery of marketing programs and initiatives.

  • Utilize performance reporting and analytics to generate actionable insights, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize marketing processes and resources.

  • Support the development of marketing budgets by managing allocations, tracking expenses, and recommending efficient use of marketing resources.

  • Lead marketing team skill enhancement initiatives by conducting training sessions and providing guidance on effective use of marketing technologies and operational processes.

  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies related to marketing operations to support strategic planning and innovation.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of corporate strategy and ensure marketing operational activities align with broader organizational goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training.

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Knowledge of marketing processes including campaign execution, lead management, and marketing attribution models.

  • Familiarity with data management and governance practices such as data cleansing, segmentation, and reporting.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Basic understanding of technical languages such as HTML and SQL.

  • Experience with marketing technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM systems such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, and CDP platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, or Datorama.

  • Eligibility to obtain a Reliability Security Clearance.

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
