The Manager, Registrations supports the Director, Registrations by contributing to the overall success of the Registrations team and ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The incumbent ensures all activities conducted are following governing regulations, compliance rules and regulations, internal policies and Procedures. This role also contributes to the success of our team with their insightful analyses and impactful executive reports.

- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas and team, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk and regulatory compliance risk.
- Champions a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.
- Fosters and sustains strategic partnerships with external entities, in alignment and fulfillment of the department’s strategic vision.
- Execute various administrative functions to maintain the operation of the SRD. Provide reporting and feedback to the Director, Registrations on licensed personnel and any correspondence with Regulators, compliance departments, branches or individuals. Identify any areas of deficiencies in the registration process to management.
- Continuously seeks methods to enhance process efficiency through automation and standardization.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic roles in banking/financial services
- 3+ years of experience dealing in Registrations
- 3+ years of people manager experience, the incumbent role is to strengthen team cohesion and uphold company culture.
- 3+ years of experience dealing with internal and/or stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience with Compliance, Regulatory and/or Risk Management
- Able to manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and
- A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations

- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
- Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment
- Experienced in developing reports and communications for an executive audience
- University degree in Business is desirable
