Adecco is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician, located in Belleville, Ontario. This is a full-time, on-site position with an annual salary of $83,200. The role is perfect for candidates with a solid background in industrial maintenance who thrive in fast-paced environments and are looking to grow within a dynamic team. Initially a day shift role (Monday to Friday), this position may evolve into a rotating shift schedule as production demands grow.

• Pay Rate: $83,200 /year.

• Location: Belleville, ON

• Shift: Monday to Friday (MAD rotation); some weekend/overtime required. Shift rotation may occur as production expands.

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct daily routine checks to identify equipment damages or necessary repairs.

• Service machines such as conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizes, and labelers.

• Operate and maintain systems including steam boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration/cooling units.

• Maintain and repair PLCs, electronics, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.

• Troubleshoot hardware and support operators during equipment failures.

• Complete production line tasks while adhering to safety standards.

• Participate in on-the-job training and team collaboration.

• Follow all company policies including health, safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• 2+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in food or manufacturing).

• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset.

• Electromechanical knowledge (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.) is a plus.

• Trade license is considered an asset.

• Skilled in reading electrical drawings, manuals, P&ID’s, and blueprints.

• Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
